In Valentino is een bank beroofd en hierbij zijn twee doden gevallen: sheriff Grady en zijn hulp Jim Kane. Intussen zit Cahill's zoon Danny vanwege een vechtpartij in de gevangenis. Cahill weet zijn zoon vrij te krijgen en er volgt een serieus gesprek tussen vader en zoon. Cahill weet dat Danny het nooit leuk gevonden heeft dat hij altijd zo lang van huis was en voelt zich hier schuldig over. Mede hierdoor is Danny met de verkeerde mensen omgegaan. Danny's geweten begint op te spelen. Hij heeft er ontzettend veel spijt van dat hij zich heeft laten ompraten door Struther en zijn jongste broer Billy Joe om Fraser en Brown te helpen om de bank te beroven. Hij realiseert zich dat hoewel hijzelf en zijn broer geen aandeel hadden in de moord op sheriff Grady en Jim Kane, ze wel medeplichtig zijn. Wat hij zich niet realiseert, is dat z'n vader dit scenario al lang zelf had bedacht. Cahill blijkt zijn zoon beter te kennen dan hij had gedacht.
